So there is this man and his name is Jamie. He also answers to many other names. Mister, Sir, Honey, Mr. Fix It... but most of all, Daddy and Papa. Jamie is my Daddy.
My daddy was my first love and will always be my first love. He is the one who taught me how a girl should be treated by the tender way he treated and still treats my mom. He is the one who always stood behind me and pushed me towards my goals and towards achieving my dreams. He taught me how to ride my bike and how to shoot a gun. He took me deer hunting and drove me to my prom.
My dad and I have always been close and I feel like I can talk to him about anything. He can do anything in my eyes. If something is broken, we call daddy. If something is making a funny sound, Darbee says, "Papa can look at it." He can build anything and make anything better. I am so thankful for Jamie.
You brought tears to my eyes Holly. God blessed us all with this wonderful man. He shows so much love and patience to all who know him. Yes, he is loved and he loves you and Darbee Rae with all his heart.

He sounds like a wonderful person. My Pops has been gone for eight years. We had our differences, but he was a good man, and I miss him.
