Getting back into the routine

Good evening friends!  Hope all of you have had a good day.  It is still cold here but not nearly as cold as the last few days.  We actually climbed into the 40's today!

With our Christmas break being extended by two days because of the cold temperatures, it was back to school today!  Darbee Rae was absolutely thrilled.  She couldn't get to sleep last night for laughing because she was tickled to death to be heading back.  She was up earlier than ever this morning and going strong.  She couldn't wait!
Me....not so much.  I was hard to get moving.  Now that I am working, I have to get up and get ready before her every morning.  I can't complain though because I don't have to be there until 8:40.

I thought I would share a few pictures of the classroom I work in.  It's really neat how God works things out sometimes.  This job kind of just fell into my lap and I am so thankful.  It is perfect for me right now.
Even when Darbee is in full day school next year, it will allow me to be able to still take her and pick her up from school.  The hours are great!

Here is our room. This is what you see when you walk in the door.
This is where they have circle time.

If you look to the right, this is what you will see.
This is mainly the play area.

If you look to the left, this is what you will see.

At least this week is short...only three days!

Until next time...

  1. God have given me a job that allows me to do pick up and drop off too. I really love that I can work and still do mom things that I love.

  2. I love that Darbee is so excited to return to school! School has been called off 4 days this week. Megan was not happy when I told her there was another day off. :) I am so happy that you have a job that works so well for you.
