ReplyDeleteI have 4 sisters and we live in different parts of the country. Every fall two of my sisters come from Texas (to see the colors in North GA)and we spend all day on a Saturday antique shopping. On Sunday we all get together for a family reunion at my house. This is usually the only time we see each other during the year.
ReplyDeleteSo fall means seeing family!
Hi Holly! I came over from Wendy's blog Ravenwood Whimzies and am now a follower. :)
ReplyDeleteAround here summer is trying to hang on and autumn is pushing her way in. I love fall! Every October, my family looks forward to our annual pumpkin farm trip to pick pumpkins and have fun! We've gone to this farm for 12 years, and always take pictures of our kids in the pumpkin fields. As a parent I love reflecting back on the photos of our children from infants to toddlers and so on. :)
Blessings, Jessica

Hi Holly. What a fun giveaway!! Every fall our family goes into the canyon where the orchards are and pick peaches. The girls love to carry the baskets and pick them off the tree themselves. Then we go home and make a cobbler. It's a fun time of the year for us. I will post your giveaway on my sidebar and will facebook it for you. No way of telling how many new friends you could get that way:) Have a great day. -Steph-
ReplyDeleteHi Holly, First of all it is great to meet a new person and have another fun blog to visit. I am pretty sure I know your daughter Darbee from your mom's blog! She is such a cutie and so loved by her Grandma. My favorite fall tradition is my town has a SeptOberfest celebration for about a month. There are a lot of activities and even some craft shows that have prim shopping, dangerous but fun! Have a great day and a great weekend and please enter me in your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteBe blessed,
Cindi
Hi, Holly...Wendy sent me too! Welcome to the blogging world. Our favorite fall tradition is to drive up to apple country, its always something we all enjoy, visiting the apple orchards, bringing home a box or two, enjoying the mountain fresh air...best time of the year here in southern california....hugs
ReplyDeleteHi~ I am a new follower. I heard about you and your giveaway from Wendy. I would love to be entered in your giveaway and for you to come see my blog as well. My favorite fall tradition used to be apple picking with the family (in New England), but since we moved to California we haven't found many places for that. I do love Thanksgiving! A time to be thankful and to be together with family and of course lots of yummy food.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you and I will look forward to future posts. Blessings~Sara

ReplyDeleteOh, heard about you through Wendy @ Ravenwood Whimzies.
Hi Holly!
ReplyDeleteI'm already a follower. :)
One of my favorite fall traditions is visiting the local pumpkin patch and picking out our pumpkin and participating in all the fall activities. We usually grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks on our way, as a special treat and it's just a fun time for me and my hubby. We look forward to sharing this time with Declan soon! :)
The beautiful Anna (and incase you have more than one...the one right above this comment with Declan arriving soon!) sent me :)
ReplyDeleteHAPPY FALL!!

ReplyDeleteWhat sweet give-away gifts! I'm not entering-it's way to expensive to ship to Canada. but I will share my favorite fall activity.
I love going with the g'children to the pumpkin field; the hayride, visiting the farm animal, and walking the corn maze. It's a blast!
Fall to me is pumpkin squares with my Moms caramel icing, pumpkin spice coffee, making apple butter, fall decorations and color. There is always a trip or two to PF for a few nights. The festival in Clinton and the list goes on. Football is in the midst too! I just LOVE fall!
ReplyDeleteHi Holly! I was sent here by my Mother-in-Law Wendy at Ravenwood Whimzies! I'm looking forward to seeing your blog! A fall tradition I love is carving pumpkins with the family. Last year was my first experience with a new tradition my husband and his family have done for years--going to a corn maze and I found I LOVE that too and look forward to continuing that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway, Holly! I'd love to be entered! I will mention you and my giveaway on my next post!
ReplyDeleteLet's see....I love so many fall activities. But one thing our immediate family does in the fall is to start our evening 4-wheeler rides. We pull the kids in a wagon behind us. The air is crisp and it's so fun....then we come home and get cozy....hot chocolate and a movie! Just being with family and that feeling in the air.
Hugs,
Tammy

Hi, Holly ~ I would love to be entered into your giveaway! I am a new follower--Tammy from Country Girl at Home sent me :) Our favorite fall traditions are decorating around our home (and sometimes outside) and often going on fall picnics when the leaves are so gorgeous! I look forward to getting to know you! Karen
ReplyDeleteHi Holly! I am a new follower by way of Tammy (Country Girl at Home). So glad to find your blog and become your blog neighbor. I always love decorating for fall but the most fun thing is our hayrides. Tractor Supply ask us every year to give hayrides on their Fall Harvest Celebration. My husband dresses up in his bib overalls and straw hat and takes families for a hayride around their parking lot, through the fields around their store while I take their pictures and have a special treat waiting for them when they return. We usually have one of the young goats dressed up and with us. The kids love it almost as much as we do. Happy Fall! Peggy
